John Charles Boykin, age 61, passed away suddenly at his residence in Beaumont, Texas on Thursday, June 23, 2011. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, James H. “Cotton” Boykin Jr., and Helen Revah Keller-Boykin. He is remembered through the caring eyes of his life partner, Karen Louise Mitchell and his loving daughter, Bonnie Anne Boykin-Dean, and her husband, Kane Dean, of Lumberton.
He will always be remembered as a great “Paw Paw John” by his only grandchild, Madden Kane Dean. He leaves behind a caring sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Harry Broussard of Beaumont, along with two nieces and their families. He was the nephew of Francis Parmley, of Nederland.
Words can’t express the heartfelt gratitude towards his apprentice and friend till the end, Wayne Berwick.
A memorial service will be held at, Boykin's Automotive, 3501 Highland Dr., Beaumont, TX 77705, at 10 a.m., on Saturday, June 25, 2011.
