Joann Elizabeth Reimers Wilson, 87, of Lumberton, passed on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Sweeny Village Mills Nursing & Rehab in Lumberton. A native of Stockdale, Texas, Joann has lived in Lumberton since 1960, was a retired teacher with Lumberton ISD, and a longtime member of The Lumberton Church of Christ. Joann was preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Mattieleen Reimers. Joann is survived by her husband of 68 years William Wilson, son David Wilson, daughter Linda Olliff and husband Charles all of Lumberton, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Due to the current need for social distancing, The Wilson Family has chosen to hold a virtual memorial service.
