Jerry Mack Wise, 78, a forty-four year resident of Evadale passed away on Sunday February 3, 2019 in Beaumont. Jerry was born in Hemphill, Texas on December 17, 1940 to his parents Kermit and Madie Williams Wise who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his wife; Judith Anne Wise, and daughter; Baby Judy.
Jerry was a Baptist by faith and attended Bible Baptist Church in Silsbee and also was involved with the Gideons for thirteen years. In his professional life, Jerry was a dedicated employee of the local I.B.E.W L.U. Number 479 as an electrician. He was also an avid gun dealer, enthusiast, and collector. He loved listening to old western music and watching old western movies. Jerry was also known to have an extensive collection of Bibles in addition to his guns which he was very proud of both.
Jerry is survived by his son; Darryl Gene Wise and wife Rhonda Crosby of Lumberton, daughter; Sharon Wise Phillips and husband Brian of Buna, seven grandchildren; Kavan Wise, Tristan Wise, Talyn Wise, Hannah Wise, Garrett Phillips, Tyleigh Phillips, and Asher Phillips.
