Jerdon “Jerry” Smith II, age 68, passed away Monday, March 7, 2011 at his residence in Houston, Texas. Jerry was born July 10, 1942 in Frisco City, Alabama to Jerdon and Dorthy Smith.
Jerdon was preceded in death by his father, Jerdon Smith and a brother, Ronald Gene Smith. He is survived by his son, Jerry Kevin Smith; mother, Dorthy Mae Smith; brothers, Mark Lee Smith and wife, Judy, Robert Smith and wife, Mary, David Paul Smith, Donald Eugene Smith, Matt Smith; friend, Mike Wicklander and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. Contributions may be made to The Diana Foundation of Houston, Texas.
