Jeannie had a smile that was bright and warm. Her spirit was gentle, kind and loving. Her hug would turn your day around and she knew it so she made sure to give them out. Jeannie would give you her last dime. Selfless would describe her best. Jeannie's most treasured possession was her girls and her grandkids. The grandkids were the stars of her eyes and made her happiest. She modeled the love she had for others from God. But don't let the gentle, loving, kind spirit make you think she was timid. She was up for an adventure. A thrill seeker she was! She loved the outdoors, rollercoasters, dreamed of sky-diving and riding in a hot air balloon. All the lives she has touched will be eternally changed and grateful.
Jeannie is survived by her loving husband, Curtis Holland; daughters, Shawnaka Holland, Jennifer Holland and Jared Lane, Amber West and husband Isaac; sisters, Wanda Kennedy and husband Dale, and Pat Hall and husband Tim; and grandchildren, Baylee, Luke, Beaux, Paxton, and Zoey.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents Billy Gene Fountain and Martha Young Fountain, and daughter, Katy Marie Holland.
A gathering of family and friends for Jeannie will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 4955 Pine, Beaumont, Texas 77703. A celebration of Jeannie’s life will occur Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 10:00 AM, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 4955 Pine, Beaumont, Texas 77703.
