We now celebrate the life of the "Gentle Giant" of a man. Henry, also fondly known as "Brother and Gramps," was an adventurer, motorcycle and Corvette enthusiast, scuba diver, gardener, animal lover, swimmer, along with many other hobbies. His life was devoted to his many boats and yachts that he meticulously took care of and loved taking friends and associates out for rides/excursions to restaurants, especially Esther's under the Rainbow Bridge.
He was a man of few words with a dry wit and sarcastic sense of humor, but you knew what he was thinking just by the look on his face. He was always ready for the next adventure. He loved traveling, but was most proud of traveling to Newfoundland, Canada, on the motorcycle and 49 other states.
He lived every day to its fullest and he loved his family unconditionally.
We will miss him immensely. Rest in peace, until we see you again.
"So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you." John 16:22
Cremation arrangements are entrusted with Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont. Memorial Graveside services will be held at 1:15pm on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at the Houston VA Cemetery.
