Helen Marie Menard Walker was born January 25, 1943 to Lallace Joseph Menard and Martha Marie Broussard Menard in Beaumont, Texas and went to be with our Lord on July 30, 2021 in Port Arthur, Texas.
She was a caregiver. She left school after sixth grade to care for her Mother, then husband with cancer and later her Mother-in-law. Music was the love of her life. Whether it be cajun, country, or 50 & 60s music, she knew the artist, year and name of each song. Her prize possession was her CDs and vinyl 45s and albums. She was so proud of her nephew and artist, Clay Walker.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Errol Walker, her brothers, James Joseph Menard and Lee Joseph Menard; and her sister Juanita Marie Menard Nallie. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Helen's Life will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 10:00AM in the Garden of Love at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, Texas.
