Frankie King, 94, of Beaumont, TX, passed away peacefully at home on March 9, 2024. Born on August 13, 1929 in Jackson, MS. In 1949, she married Rufus King. To this marriage were born two sons, Steve (1954) and John (1959). Her husband's career first took them to Temple, TX to Kansas City to Fort Worth to Amarillo and then Beaumont in 1976.
Known for her love of gardening, she was a rare bloom herself.
Frankie was preceded in death by her husband (1994), her parents, two brothers, two sisters, 3 doctors and numerous nutritionists and health care advisors.
She is survived by her sons Steve (Tracey), John, Grandsons Steven (Shannon), Eric, 6 great grandchildren, sister-in-law Joann Walker.
The family would like to thank Harbor Hospice for the care provided in her final months.
Cremation, private interment. Celebration of life to be held in April, when the flowers are in bloom.
