Frank Gary Praznik

Frank Gary Praznik, 74, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011. He was born April 13, 1937, in Beaumont to Frank and Vera Praznik. He graduated from South Park High School in 1955. He retired from the United States Postal Service after 38 years of service. He loved the outdoors and took great pride in maintaining an immaculate yard; he enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was a loyal Fox News follower and was a longtime member of Optimist International. A favorite hobby was traveling and he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Carla Praznik; son, Michael Praznik and wife, Keri; daughter, Michelle Praznik; grandson, Garrett Praznik; granddaughter, Kaley Norris and sisters, Gay Wenner, and Sandra Griffith.

Visitation will take place Monday, October 24, 2011, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at 12:00 noon in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.
