Felix John Bonin Jr.

Felix John Bonin, Jr., 94, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Mr. Bonin was born in St. Martinsville, Louisiana to Lena and Felix John Bonin, Sr... He was the owner of Bonin Construction and was a member of the Carpenters Local Union. He was a Veteran of WW II serving in the Army.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Louise Bonin; sons, Felix “Jay” Bonin, III of Buna, James Hack and wife Joanie of St. Louis, Missouri, Russell “Rusty” Bonin and wife JoAnn of Port Neches and Randy Bonin and wife Janet of LaBelle; daughters, Sue Moore and husband Tom of San Antonio, Linda Kingrey of Beaumont and Carol Hammonds of Beaumont; step-sons, Paul Ingle and wife Frances of Jasper and Jerry Ingle and wife Ruby of Merryville, Louisiana; sisters, Rona Stansbury of Port Arthur and Ethel Vizuette and husband Jack of Nederland; 20 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 2 step- grandchildren; 6 step-great grandchildren and 3 step-great great grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, February 19, 2010, from 4 p.m., until 8 p.m., at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010, at 10 a.m., at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Officiants will be Dr. David Higgs and Rev. Ricky White.
