Mrs. Lundberg was born on June 6, 1919 to Eugene and Ethel Gobert in Leesville, LA. She married John J. Lundberg in 1941. She was a seamstress, loved to cook, garden and especially take care of others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 brothers and an adopted child, Rita.
Her survivors include a son, John E. Lundberg of Kountze; an adopted son, Wayne Laverne of Jasper; a sister, Inell Lavergne of Jasper; a nephew, Harry Hansen and wife Barbara of Beaumont; 1 granddaughter, Christine Fox; 2 great grandchildren, Patience and Abigail; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Monday, September 6, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will immediately follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
