David John Burnett, 92, of Buna passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 in Beaumont.
David was born on October 5, 1922 in Cameron, Texas to Issac Nuel and Julia Ann Burnett. He lived for 50 years in Beaumont, 10 years in Fred and the last 7 years in Buna. David Retired from Mobile Oil Refinery in 1985 after working for 41 years as an insulator. He loved fishing, leatherworking and listening to Country and Western music.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Matilda Burnett, sons, John Paul Burnett, Keith David Burnett, and Brian Dana Burnett. Survivors include: Daughters, Mary Ezell and husband Gene of Buna, Theresa Burns and deceased husband Roy of Silsbee; Daughter in Law, Candice Burnett of Winnie; Brother, Dana Burnett and his wife JoAnn of Beaumont; Brother in Law, Eddie Rolfs ; Seven Grandchildren; Twelve Great Grandchildren; Three Great-Great Grandchildren; Nieces, Amanda Burnett and Donia Steele.
