Cody was born in Beaumont, Texas on July 26, 1984. He graduated from Lumberton High School and went on to graduate from Lamar Institute of Technology with a degree in Instrumentation. Cody worked at Motiva for the last 10+ years as a Process Operator.
Cody was an avid fan of fitness and fast cars. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them on holidays, birthdays, vacations, and any other time he could spend with them. He loved his friends, his pets Bella and Duchess, and most of all he loved Jesus.
Cody is survived by his parents, Linda and Bill Stewart; sister Crissy Bailey and husband Jeff; sister Courtney Yust and husband Fred; niece Charley Yust; nephews Dylan and Cameron Bailey and Noah Yust, all of Lumberton, Texas; and grandmother Arloa Stewart of Paris, Texas.
Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents Donald Stewart and Mahlon and Ava Nell Porter.
The family would like to thank Dr. Gwendolyn Lavalais, nurses and staff of Harbor Hospice House for their love and compassion. He loved all of you.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas from 5:00pm - 8:00pm on Saturday September 23, 2023 with A Celebration of Cody's Life to follow on Sunday September 24, 2023 at 2:30pm at Parkway Life Church in Lumberton Texas. Cody will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas in the Garden of Faith.
