Cheryl Lea Hawley

Cheryl spent the majority of her life in Beaumont along with her siblings, and is where she met and married her husband Michael. Together, they raised two children, Christopher and Brian. Cheryl was a very sweet and caring person, who loved helping people. Her love for people carried through into her career. After graduating from Lamar University with a Bachelors in Nursing, she became a NICU nurse, taking care of the babies and eventually managing the department. Cheryl loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and she was loved by all who knew her.

Cheryl is proceeded in death by her parents, step-father Fredrick Guidry, and sister Vickie Hawthorn.

Cheryl is survived by her brother Gary Mathews, husband Michael Hawley, son Christopher Hawley and wife Morgan, son Brian Hawley, nieces Shelly and Cori Hawthorn, and grandchildren Payton and Olivia Hawley.

A Celebration of Life for Cheryl will take place Sunday March 28th, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral, 4955 Pine St, Beaumont, TX.
