Theresa (Roy) Vince, age 92, of Banning, California passed away on Thursday January 31, 2019. Theresa was born February 20, 1926 in Chatham Ontario, Canada. She was previously a resident of Reseda for 30 years before moving to Sun Lakes in Banning for the last 29 years. Theresa worked as a French/English teacher in Canada for 11 years. She was a member of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, Altar & Rosary Society, Eucharistic Minister, Bocce Ball Captain, and polling supervisor. Theresa was an avid card player of 500 and Whist, she enjoyed square dancing, stained glass, decorating, shopping, crocheting, bike riding and ice skating. She was hostess with the mostest, Member of 1st Master Corale Original and Queen of detasslers in Canada.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Frank Vince of Banning; daughter Margaret Wood of Indio; grandson Paul Everingham and great-grandson Paul Everingham of Decatur, IN; granddaughter Marie (Danny) Densmore of Lompoc, CA; great granddaughter Malia Densmore and great grandson AJ Densmore of Lompoc; granddaughter Donna (Craig) Geibel and great granddaughter Kassidy Geibel of McCall, ID.
Theresa was preceded in death by her daughter Marie Vince of Reseda, CA.
There will be a Rosary for Theresa held at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 9:30am. A Memorial Mass will follow at 10:00am and there will be a reception in the church hall to follow.
