Joy is survived by her daughter Linda; her daughter Wendy; her daughter Cheryl, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Joy was preceded in death by her husband Charles G. Cauchois.
Mom loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was strong in her faith in Jesus, and in the word of God. She modeled Jesus to us. Mom gave herself freely to us. She provided us with a home of peace, security and wonderful dinners. Mom made sure we grew up with a love of nature and a sense of adventure. Mom's name Joy was very fitting as she brought joy to everyone in her path. Her last words were "I'm off to a new adventure" with a smile and a blowing of a kiss.
Some of Joy's hobbies were painting, gardening, writing poetry and baking cookies.
A chapel service for Joy will be held Monday, March 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont, CA 92220.
