He was born in Dallas, Texas to Robert, Sr. and Ida (Moody) Hoffman on April 28, 1947.
He was a 1965 Graduate of WW Samuell High School in Dallas and earned both his Bachelor and Master’s degrees from the University of North Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Bennett Hoffman in 2001.
He is survived by his spouse Christopher Neal Wigley, brother Ronald, and sister’s Vicki (Ward) and Melinda (Combs) several nieces and nephews from the Hoffman and Wigley families. In addition his and Christopher’s two rescue canines, Minnie Louise and Mary Grace.
A Celebration of Life event will be held at the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Couer ’dAlene, Idaho at a later date.
