Marilyn B. Mazza, age 91, of Banning, California passed away on March 31, 2022. Born in Rotterdam, New York, daughter of Maude Elizabeth (Hodges) and Joseph Winfield Bryant. Marilyn is preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Robert August Mazza who passed away just 10 days prior on March 21, 2022. She is also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Willard Bryant of Schroon Lake, New York; sisters, Doris Frost, of Rome, Georgia and Lillian Cremo of Scotia, New York.
Marilyn is survived by her six children, Joseph, Mark, Maureen, Judy, Gail, Robert, and their spouses; 8 grandchildren, Collin, Ahren, Nicole, Andrew, Jessica, Nathan, Robert, and Brad; 4 great grandchildren, Bay, Marlin, Pippen, and Drexler and, nieces and nephews.
Marilyn graduated at age 16 from Draper High School in Rotterdam, New York. Soon after graduating, she was hired by General Electric in her hometown, Schenectady, New York. She was instrumental in the hiring of many local residents, as jobs were plentiful in those days. “GE” was known as “the city that lights and hauls the world.”
Marilyn was a loving wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She is loved by all. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services and arrangements are entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California on Friday June 24th at 11:00 AM.
A private interment with military honors will be held at Riverside National Cemetery.
