Lois Jimenez, 73, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 5, at her home in Beaumont, after a long battle with cancer. She was born April 8, 1940 in Los Angeles, California. Lois loved traveling and spending time with all her family. She shared her adventures with her lifetime partner, Charlie.
Most everyone that knew her has some funny moment or memory of Lois. Lois loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by everyone—including her precious dog Penny—who is still looking for her beautiful Lois.
Lois is survived by her companion of 43 yrs., Charlie Leger, 8 children—a combination of Lois and Charlie’s previous marriages—but always one united family: Julie (Andrew) Hernandez, Joann (Mike) Kirby, Jerri (Tom) Corona, Joey Jimenez, Judy (Joey) Trujillo, Jennifer (David) Berg, Chuck Leger III, Jodie Leger, 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren—all of whom held a special place in Lois’ heart. There was nothing that she wouldn’t do for her family. Whether it was birthdays, illness, activities, or celebrations—Lois was always there to provide much love and caring.
Lois was preceded in death by her mother, Mercedes Ortiz and her sister, Rebecca Delacruz.
Lois will be cremated at her request. A celebration of life service is at 12 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014
at Lois and Charlie’s home in Beaumont.
In memory of Lois, contributions to the American Cancer Society are welcomed or please join a local Cancer Walk in honor of our sweet Lois.
Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California.
