Judy was born on October 6, 1946 in Levelland, TX. She passed away on January 12, 2013 at the age of 66 in the city of Corona, CA where she had lived for 12 years. Judy came to California in the 3rd grade & attended Banning School District. She was a Banning High School Song Leader and graduated in 1965 from Banning High School. She attended Skadron School of Business & worked with Dr. Richard Peyton for many years. Judy was known for serving many families in the community as a Funeral Counselor at Weaver Mortuary for 28+ years, as well as the owner of Beaumont Unique Flowers. Her organization, soft voice & kind spirit comforted many in their time of need. Judy will be remembered by her Strawberry collection, the color red, her organization, tidiness, where everything was perfectly placed, and being a gracious hostess. Our fond memories include her laugh, smile, every hair on her head in place & immaculate nails. She made everyone feel special on their birthdays & holidays. She was voted Mother of the Year by the Record Gazette in 1981. She is survived by her daughter Kristy Weaver Sullivan from Corona, CA, a son and daughter-in-law Mark & Jaclyn Weaver of Cherry Valley. Her sister & brother in-law Becca & Phil Edinborough of Vista and her brother & sister-in-law Mickey & Tina Worthington of Moreno Valley. She had 4 grandchildren, Summer, Matthew, Sage & Wyatt, and one new baby boy arriving in April. A Memorial Service is scheduled Sunday, January 20th, 2013 at 1:30pm at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Ave. Beaumont, CA 92223. A reception will follow the service. A Private Family Inurnment is planned at Mt. View Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her parents Woody & Winnie Worthington. Instead of flowers, please make a donation payable to TEAM M.P. & mail to the Mortuary towards the fight against CERVICAL CANCER that Judy & Kristy supported.
