Josephine Mary Byrne, age 93, of Banning, California passed away on Wednesday August 8, 2018. Josephine was born March 19, 1925 in New York, New York. She was a resident of Banning for 11 years and previously lived in Calimesa for 25 years. Josephine loved dancing to rock'n'roll, bowling, bingo, bunco and just being a jokester. She was an avid seamstress and hairdresser during her work years. She will always be remembered as a happy, caring person. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. thank you to all her caregivers the last months of her life. She resided in Sun Lakes, Banning and had a wonderful time doing her activities. Special thanks to Helene Kassman & Doris Thompson who took her out and watched over her. Thank you to my husband, Jay, who cared for her the past decade and treated her like a "mom". We shared many good times with "mama", a.k.a "Crazy JoJo" and will miss her always. She now rests in peace with her second husband, Edward G. Byrne, and will join her first husband Paul DelGatto, Sr. and her ten brothers and sisters of the Muccioli family of New York who preceded her in death. Your sons, Ray and his wife Tammie along with son Paul, pray for a restful sleep till we meet again, as do all the many people at Sun Lakes who you made smile. Jay and I will personally miss hearing you call us daily: Bobbie, Bobbie, Jay, Jay. God speed mama-you deserve heaven.
