George Camden Mears, age 87, of Beaumont, California passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. George was born in Livingston Manor, NY. After high school he worked for New York State Electric and Gas Co. where he became a lineman. He was married June 25, 1955 to Joan Van Deusen. After a few years in 1962 they came to Santa Ana, Ca and soon after purchased their first home in Orange, Ca. George went to work for IBEW local 441 for 60 years. They had 3 children, Guy, Lori and Keith. George is survived by his wife Joan; children Guy, Lori and Keith; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
