I met David in 1952 when we lived in the same apartment building in Brooklyn New York.  As kids we played Johnny on the Pony, Skelly, Punchball with our “spaldeens” , and various other New York City games most long since forgotten in the era of iPhones and iPads.  He was a year older and a grade ahead of me until our junior high school (Middle School) years when I caught up by being in the SP.  (3 years of JHS in two).  The magic of 21st century social media brought us together.  Although I never saw David since June 1964 when we graduated Lafayette high school we communicated by FaceTime Facebook and the old fashioned telephone.  David & I “discussed” our different political outlooks and when all was over were able to profess our affection for each other...perhaps we can all learn that in 2019’s politically charged discourse. 
David gave me immortality in his “MIRVIN HALL” books.  I’m “Harry the doctor’s kid”   David my old friend may you Rest In Peace as you touched so many lives in your 72 year journey.

I first met David - my cousin - when he sent me an email saying that he thought we were related.  I was very skeptical.  After consulting with other relatives, it turned out that he was legit, and it turned out to be of the best emails I ever got.  David was one of the kindest, gentlest, most decent people I ever met.  He would give you the proverbial shirt off his back - any time, anywhere.  And that's what he did when he spent a year tracking down the gravesite of the grandmother I and my family never knew.  (Not his relative, by the way.)  It was a huge job;  he spent hours and hours working on it - out of sheer kindness. And in David fashion, he was successful.

I am so thankful for that email.  It introduced me to what turned out to be one of the best relatives a person could ever have.  I am so proud to call David my cousin, and I will miss him more than anyone will ever know.

I first met David 45 years ago when he was working for Dun & Bradstreet. Over the years, we shared U.S. Air Force stories, fishing trips, meals, and trips to industry conferences both in the U.S. and internationally. He was a kind soul who always put himself out to others. He will be missed by not only me; but those who knew him.

Ooh!!!!! A good heart has stopped beating!!!!!!

Allow me to offer my condolences to FAMILY and all partners for the passing of David Greenberg. From my years of doing business with him, I know he was not only my trusted business partner, but also my friend. What a great loss for all of us who knew him!

May God be with you in your time of grieving and as you adjust to this great loss.

My condolences to David's family.  I will miss David very much and have fond memories of our time spent together.  I enjoyed speaking with him in Las Vegas, socializing with him at the many events, and was so looking forward to our next Palm Springs visit.  His knowledge of our industry was tremendous and we have lost a giant in our industry.
