The Lord called Cheyenne Antoinette Leyva home on August 10, 2015 at the age of 10 due to brain cancer at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital. She is a Tribal Member of Los Coyotes Band of Cahuilla & Cupeñor Indians. Cheyenne was born September 9, 2004 at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital to her parents Gina (Joslin) Leyva and Roger Leyva. Cheyenne would have been in the 5th grade. She received awards from Soboba Preschool and Bautista Creek Elementary and was home schooled. She loved to play board games, sing, dance, play with her dolls and so much more.
She is survived by two brothers Andrew and Francisco, two sisters Gina and Savannah, grandparents Janet (Joslin) Dillman and Scott Dillman of Beaumont, grandfather Roger Leyva Sr. of Banning, great grandparents Doris (Chaparosa) Joslin of Hemet and Edward Joslin of Beaumont, uncles Cody Dillman, Gordon Snyder and Raymond Leyva, aunt and uncle Julie (Leyva) Arias and Lorenzo Arias, Josie (Leyva) Castro and Salvador Castro. Many cousins, great uncles and great aunts.
We love her so much, she is with the Lord now and we will see her again.
