Been awake since 12:45 am and a day doesn’t go by that I don’t miss you. The memories we shared you surprising  me when you lived  out of state to come see me after surgery. Your dance moves . I miss hearing you say hey sissy. I always feel like you will walk through the door . I wish you could meet your niece  but I think  you have since she talks to your picture on the blanket. And points when you ask where is uncle Brett she goes to your picture. Our family will never be whole and I wish I could have one more hug and hear your voice one more time. I love you Brett I know your having a amazing time living life to the fullest. Keep your contagious smile going up there and watch over us . Love you baby ❤️ 

The only person that showed up to my 5th birthday party, I’ll always remember this. 

I can not believe it has already been a year. I still find myself struggling to come to terms with the fact that he’s gone. Looking back now I realize he was such a huge part of my life . I grew up going to his house every day. When we came back from school everyday we loved to watch shows, and loved to eat even more. We’d share how our day went, all the bad and all the good. I even would throw a football with him, and if you know me I don’t play sports for a reason. Brett was a second big brother to me, and it showed (he was always very protective of me lol). I wish I could just have one more hug, but all I have are the memories. I miss you lots Brett 🤍

I think my favorite Memory of Brett was when he gave me a birthday card and he put  his picture in it and the card said you’re my best friend happy birthday I love you I still have the card trying to think of what year it was I would say he was maybe 12 or 13 . My second favorite memory with Brett was when I had a couple fractured ribs and could hardly get up he would ride his bicycle down to my house and cook me eggs he was a sweet kid with a big heart An infectious smile that  lit up the room when he walked in and that kid loved his family no matter what !!  My heart hurts for all of you then and now ... RIP Brett 

Where do I begin...I’ll always remember those days of driving you to school almost every day for all those years.  I enjoyed watching you grow from a little boy with his Binky in his mouth to a handsome and caring young man. I will always remember you as the protector to  all the women in your life from your mom, your sister, and my sweet girls.  I will forever cherish that last smile and hug I received  before you gained your angel wings.  My dearest Mike, Anna, Bradley, and Brandy, I love you all to the moon and back! ❤️

Miss you so much...You were such a great friend an always had my back. We always were just laughing and having  a great time together. I miss you so much brother.

Every time I step on to that football field at Beaumont HS, I am reminded of you. I remember the hard work and dedication you gave. I am grateful that I was able to be your Coach. I will never forget you #51
