Bobbie Lee Roberson

Bobbie Lee Roberson was born January 18, 1946 to Theo and Ruth. He grew up in Los Angeles, California and attended Jefferson High School where he met his soon to be wife Helen Hall. Upon completion of high school, Bobbie joined the Marines and served his country honorably in the Vietnam War. He ran many search and rescue missions, saving and helping anyone he could. His service earned him numerous commendations and medals for his dedication and bravery. Bobbie completed his tour of duty as an E-3, Lance Corporal LCpl.Upon returning from the Marines, Bobbie married Helen and began a family. He attended college where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and began working in that field. Bobbie was always an optimist and always had a smile on his face no matter what the circumstances. He was known for helping anyone he came in contact with. When his mother became ill, he took care of her as only a loving son could. He was very close with his mother and family. Bobbie passed on February 26, 2017 peacefully at home with his family. He will be remembered as an extraordinary Husband, Father and Friend who had a passion for Life, Love and family.
