Barbara retired after working many years with the San Bernardino College system. She and her husband of 53 years, Les, had many fond memories of foreign travel and spending time gardening together. They loved the Cherry Valley area and its beautiful hills.
Barbara is survived by her daughter Susan Lee Nolte and 6 grandchildren; Hope, Emma, Stuart, Stephanie, Stacy and Shawna. She was preceded in death by a son Hal Francis Bowers and her loving husband Lester.
Visitation Monday, June 23, 2014, at 9:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am, both at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, California. Interment will follow at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, California, where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
