My grandma was amazing. She had a huge heart and when she said I love you , she meant it. When she said family is everything , she meant it. She stood  for what she believed in . If you  were wrong she would tell you, if you were right she would tell you . She didn’t care if she was the only one who believed in someone , she still believed.  All she wanted was her family to get along, be together , and love each other. She did not pick and choose who she would love , she loved us all.  I will pass her wisdom down to my grandchildren . Because My grandma is and always will be my hero . I miss her so very much.  Lisa 

Ms Avis was a true Christian at heart. She loved her Lord and Savior JesusChrist even to her death, loved receiving the holy communion and liked hearing the Word of God, expounded and applied for her daily living. Also she loved talking to God through prayer. Ms Avis was gifted by God with a very large heart that was so generous and yet so gentle. Adopting me as her personal pastor from Hospice was the best gift I received from her.  Her tough love for her family kept her going and ticking daily, she knew her future but she just wanted to have a little more time with her beloved family who loved her back lavishly. Her lovingkindness, gentleness and welcoming spirit will be greatly missed. I bless God for having met and known Ms Avis.  

Brandon Avis was definitely one of my favorite patients I’ve come to love in my 24yrs of nursing. It’s very seldom that as a nurse a patient feels like a family member, she definitely pulled at my heart strings. She was the  most sweetest, warm hearted, loving person I’ve come to know. She always greeted me when I’d come to see her with this most beautiful smile it was so contagious I couldn’t help but smile right back at her. Seeing  Mrs. Brandon twice a week or sometimes more was the highlight of my week as she always made me feel so welcome and loved. She was always more worried about me and how my day way going than herself. I’m honored to have been able to be Mrs. Brandon’s nurse and have had the pleasure to have been able to get to know her for the past 1 1/2yrs. I will always keep a special place in my heart for her❤️

This is one of the kindest ,most beautiful woman I ever knew !! I always loved going to her house with Donna.   What a blessing to all who knew her♥️

Avis was always such a sweet person inside and out, growing up I loved going out to the sand dunes to ride the sand buggies with Aunt Avis and Uncle Lloyd. Aunt Avis will be greatly missed but I know she is now resting with our heavenly father and we will be reunited again some day. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

My grandma was and always will be  my hero. She was someone who always loved me unconditionally. She was the only consistent person in my life . I will always keep her close in my heart and she will never be forgotten.  She was beautiful, stubborn,  she loved her family with all of her heart. she made me laugh, she made me cry , I can still hear her telling me stories about how her and my grandfather met.  What I would give fir just one more day, hour even minutes to be with her .
