He was born on February 8, 1942 to Warner and Ida Harwell. He worked for the City of Baytown Public Works Dept. for 25 years before retiring in 2001.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Warner Wesley and Ida Mildred Harwell, a brother, Glen Wesley Harwell; a son Justin Lee Harwell, and a sister, Carrie Joy Harwell Berg.
He is survived by a brother, Charles Leon Harwell; five children, Kelly Sue Harwell Levi, Brenda Lee Harwell Nieto, William Edmond Harwell, Jr., Keriann Harwell Lowry and Jerrad Daniel Harwell; six grandchildren, Craig Milton Chizer, Cody William Chizer, Dane Lanier Lowry, Lauren Elizabeth Lowry, Justin Daniel Harwell and William Abel Harwell as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 7, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel, 3919 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday April 8, 2014 at 10:00am at Earthman Chapel. Interment will be private for the family.
