Walter Donald Smith

Walter Donald Smith was born in Denning, Texas, on September 8, 1934, to Alice Bradbury Smith and alter Harrison Smith. He left this earth on February 2, 2018. He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Marilyn Anderson Smith; daughters, Donna Smith O’Brien and Tillman David O’Brien III, and Deanne Smith Moore and Russell Moore; grandchildren, Reagan Moore Goza and Calvin Goza, Sydni O’Brien Burns and Andrew Burns, Madison Moore Malaschak and Scott Malaschak, and Tillman David O’Brien IV; great-grandchildren, Marshall Cole Goza, Effie Smith Burns, and Mabry Dru Goza; brothers, Lester

Smith and Marie Smith, Charles Smith and Jeannie Smith, Kenneth Smith and Anna Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents and his brother Robert Smith and sisters Mary Smith McBride, Merline Smith McBride, and Billy Smith Tiller.

He married Marilyn Anderson Smith on June 20, 1959. Together, they reared two

daughters, four grandchildren, and welcomed three great-grandchildren.

The family will have a visitation from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM on Saturday, February

10. The memorial service will follow from 11:30-12:00. Both visitation and memorial service

will be held at Memorial Baptist Church Chapel, 600 West Sterling Avenue, Baytown, Texas.

A private burial service will be held prior to the visitation.
