Virginia was born to Hunter and Sybil Nicholson on January 25, 1937, in Livingston, Texas. She married Percy Trahan in 1956, and they lived together in Houston, Texas. Together they raised two children. She is survived by: Tammy Massey (daughter), and her husband Steve, grandchildren: Heather Hughes, Ty Massey, Charlie Massey, Thomas Massey, Cheyenne Massey, and Cory Massey, great grandchildren: Adelaide Hughes and Asher Hughes, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Percy Trahan, (husband) and Perry Trahan, (son).
Virginia was a dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time on their farm in Flatonia, Texas and was an avid fan of the Houston Astros, the Houston Oilers, and Houston Texans.
Visitation is scheduled for 9:00 am followed by a service at 10:00 am on January 9, 2024, at Monument Baptist Church, 3602 East Blvd, Deer Park, Texas.
