God’s child, Tristian “Trini” Cantu, was called home to her Father in Heaven August 13, 2010. Tristian is survived by her parents; Albert & Tammy Lopez & David Cantu Jr of Dallas, TX, three sisters; Tori, Alex & Gaby Lopez, brothers; David “Trey” Cantu, David Cantu IV, Aidien Cantu, grandmothers- Santos Wall & Margaret Cantu, great grandmother, Beatrice Hernandez, the love of her life, fiancé, Cody Says & special life-long friend Danielle Villanueva. She was a beautiful flower picked by the hand of God and welcomed into his loving arms at the gates of Heaven, where she was greeted by her loving grandparents, Alfred & Beatrice Lopez with open arms.
Trini was a 2004 Ross S. Sterling graduate where she was a member of the Sterling STARS. After high school, she began her college career working towards her life-long dream of becoming a Registered Nurse. Trini loved her job as a CNA at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital. On August 13, 2010 she was scheduled to graduate from San Jacinto North Campus as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She was also a member of Maranatha Church where she actively volunteered in the nursery.
She was adored by her three sisters and always took the time to make each of them feel as though they were her favorite; secretly knowing that she adored each of them equally, unconditionally, and eternally. She will be remembered by her Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and numerous friends for the amazing person that she was. Trini was admired and dearly loved by all of her family especially her cousins. They often joked that she was the “perfect one”. Her compassion, sweet demeanor and loving personality allowed her to ‘mother’ all of her cousins and sisters. They looked up to her for her drive and commitment and for the inspiration she gave them. She will forever be their inspiration and role model.
Trini was a shining star; she impacted all of the lives she came into contact with because she was a loving, caring, and genuine person. She had a smile that could light up any room and a laugh that was unforgettable. She would do anything for her family and friends. She was truly a beautiful person…inside and out. One of the most important things in her life was her family. She will be missed for the immense love she gave to all and our lives will not be the same without her.
