Tony Harkins

Joseph "Tony" Anthony Harkins, age 43 of La Porte Texas, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. He was born in Houston Texas, on June 28, 1980 to Fred and Maureen Harkins. Tony was the first of four siblings.

As a member of Faith Family in Church in Baytown, he was baptized on Saturday, August 28, 2015.

He had a passion for Jesus Christ, his children, helping others in need, riding his Harley Davidson on the open road, and sharing his art through tattoos.

His passion for helping others allowed him to connect with people on a personal level. Tony's personality was wonderfully described as one that 'evoked a spirit of love in each person he knew'. A perfect encapsulation of how he lived his life. Tony's love transformed the lives of everyone he encountered. He brought a bounty of beauty to everything he did. His favorite things in life included his children, tattooing, and riding. His smile had the remarkable ability to connect with people. Sharing is himself instilled a spirit of love into each person he knew. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

Tony was greeted in Heaven by; his grandparents Richard and Carrie 'Nenaw' Masselle, grandmother Mary 'Memaw' Clark; step-father Rusty Holt.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory; mother Maureen 'Momo' Harkins; father Fred 'Bubba' Harkins; stepmother Susan 'Neenee' Harkins; daughters Faith Harkins, Halle Kay 'Big Wing' Harkins, Kyndall 'Little Wing' Harkins; son Joseph 'Buddha' Harkins; brothers Richard Harkins, Sean Harkins and fiance Jolynn Elizondo; stepbrother Joshua Kendrick; sister Kayla Harkins Lee and husband Jacob; stepsisters Jessica Gilstrap and husband Jacob, Donya Holt; grandfather Joseph Anthony Napoleon; grandmother Rose Marie James.
