Thomas Padgett, 72, of Mont Belvieu was born December 10, 1942, in Houston and passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015, at his home. He was a 1962 graduate of Galena Park High School where he played football. He never lost his love for the game and continued to enjoy going to high school games and still kept in touch with his high school buddies. He retired from ENRON Corp. and was a member of First Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He also enjoyed spending time at their small country home in Trinity, TX, where he raised catfish and loved watching the deer roam and enjoyed the wildflowers in bloom. What would set him off though was when the wild hogs would tear up the pasture and he had to repair the damage. Tom was a loving husband, father and family man but above all he had a heart for the Lord and he will missed by many, many people.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Effie Padgett; son, Thomas Jeffery Padgett; and infant great grandsons, Nathan and Kaden Kennedy.
