

Sally Christine Kowis, 82, of Crosby, TX was born October 24, 1923 in Navasota and passed away Friday, January 6, 2006 in a Kingwood assisted living facility. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crosby with Rev. Terence Brinkman officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Stephen Kubin, Chad Kubin, Pat Greene, Blady Garcia, Michael Kubin, Dan Wolberg, and Justin Matthews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michel Kowis Jr., parents, Joseph and Annie Zarsky, sisters, Betty Brandt and Rosalie House, and brother, Albert Zarsky. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine and Richard Kubin of Crosby, Barbara and Jerome Kubin of Austin, and Leona and Roger Allen of Crosby; sister, Katie Holt of Crosby; grandchildren, Angela and Dan Wolberg, Michael Kubin, Melissa and Pat Greene, Stephen and Audrey Kubin, Kelly and Blady Garcia, Chad Kubin, Jennifer Allen, and Lindsay Allen; and great grandchildren, Jakob Wolberg, Catherine Wolberg, Donovan Kubin, and Anthony Greene.
