Ruth Barnett Barrow

Ruth Barnett Barrow, born August 5, 1936, a resident of Highlands, Texas from the time she married William (Willie) L. Barrow in 1957, died August 31, 2017. She fought a rare anti-yo antibody that attacked her cerebellum.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 60 years, Willie; her daughters Katrinka Mothersbaugh and husband Brent; Kim Barrow; Kristi Davis and husband Bruce; her son Bill Barrow and wife Marcia. Grandchildren Brittany Mothersbaugh Hall and husband Josh; Jessica Mothersbaugh; Dr. Lukas Chachere; Elizabeth Chachere; Rebecca Chachere and fiancé Tyler Garvin; Abby Davis and fiancé Weston Adams; Sarah Barrow; and Joseph Barrow; step-grandchild Bruce Davis, Jr. Great-grandchild Lyla Adams. One sister Maudie Sue Roberts.

Ruth affectionately known as “Granny” by all that loved her will be remembered as a devoted volunteer in her children and grandchildren’s lives and activities. Thanks to caregivers Margarita Garza and Barb McCain.

Graveside service at Memory Gardens on Garth Road will be Sunday, September 10th with a 1:30pm viewing and 2:00pm service.
