Rudy Contreras Jr.

He was known for his great sense of humor, love of sports, and his passionate love for his family. Rudy graduated from Robert E. Lee high school in Baytown, TX in 1971 where he was an all-district nose guard for the fighting ganders. Rudy was a long time employee of Bayer.

Rudy is survived by a sons, Rudy Contreras, III and his wife Patsy, Hector Cardenas, III; a daughter, Erica Cardenas; grandchildren, Sebastian Contreras, Noah and Noel Contreras, Sophia Cardenas, Genesis Martinez, and Leticia Rocha; sisters, Virgie Moran, Mary Alicia Contreras, Earline James, and Debra Gomez; brothers, Rene Contreras and Victor Garcia; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

The Family will receive friends on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel, 3919 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 10:00am at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow immediately at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.
