Ruby Fay Porter

Ruby Fay Porter, 87, of Port Arthur, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully at home on September 21, 2019. She was born on January 6, 1932 in Broaddus, Texas to RJ and Dora Stanley. She spent the majority of her life in Highlands raising her children and grandchildren whom she loved the most. She enjoyed the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries, reading her Bible, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of Pentecostal Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert J. and Dora Stanley; sisters, Ellie Oleson, Nell Busby, Ruth Rhoudes and Robbie Fay Chandler; brothers, J.D. Stanley, Bill Stanley; grandchild, Sheree Chandler.

She is survived by her daughters, Janet Odom and Dennis, Peggy Gorham and her husband Mark; sons, Charles Chandler and his wife Melody, Ronnie Chandler and his wife Terri, Eddie Jones and his wife Jennifer; brother, R.D. Stanley; grandchildren, June Culver, Gary Odom, Jr., Matt Odom, Corey Harmon, Angela Durbin, Coby Gonzales, Carly Goyco, Chris Gorham, Cady Waters, Jeremy Chandler, Jennifer Chandler, Shera Brackett, Stacy Normandin, Jason Chandler, Casey Jones, Maddie Jones, Paige Joines; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
