Robert Rick Sanchez

Robert ""Rick"" Sanchez, 71, of Baytown was born July 27, 1937 in Mercedes and passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008 in a local hospital. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and was a U. S. Air Force veteran and was a retired Houston Fire Department firefighter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Maria Sanchez and 4 brothers and 2 sisters and is survived by his wife, Olive Sanchez; daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn Sanchez, Patricia Sanchez and Amanda and Lynn Caskey II; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Kelley Jr. and wife Cheryl and Kevin Kelley and wife Ginny; grandchildren, Amber Caskey, Kelly Caskey, Derek Kelley and wife Brittany, Justin Kelley, Celeste Sanchez, Britney Kelley and Michael Chad Kelley; great granddaughter, Skyler Kelley; best friend, Tom Glendenning; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Graveside services with military honors will be Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at White Cemetery with Rev. Derek Triggs officiating.
