Richard Martinez “Death Rider”, 50, of Baytown, passed away on Feb. 4, 2011. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved motorcycles, particularly Harley’s; he was president of the Latin Lords Motorcycle Club.
He was preceded in death by his father, Luis Martinez; brother, Rudy Martinez and niece, Lucia Mendez.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Martinez; daughters, Jas Martinez and Babi Medrano; grandchildren, Dominic, Jewell and Donavan Martinez; mother, Maria Elena Martinez; brother, Martin Martinez; sisters, Juana Martinez, Esmeralda Mendez, Maria Rodriguez and Amanda Hotard and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends, who were blessed to know him.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Earthman Funeral Home, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hill of Rest Cemetery.
