Ricardo Galvan, 72, of Baytown was born January 20, 1941 in San Antonio and passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 in a local hospital. He was an electrician, retiring from ExxonMobil and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Feliz and Victoria Galvan; granddaughter, Vanessa Maria Guerra; and a sister and three brothers. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Cordelia Galvan; children, Richard F. Galvan Jr. and girlfriend, Patricia Lopez, Vickie Rivera and husband, Danny, Michelle Rosas and husband, Jessie, Mark Galvan and friend, Claudia Alaniz, and Jessie Galvan-Longoria and husband, Raul G. Longoria; grandchildren, Vincent, James, Monica, Jonathon, Joshua, Valerie, Anthony, Samantha, Christian, Gabriella, Raul G. ""R. J."", and Vanessa V.; and two great grandchildren.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, March 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1124 Beech St., Baytown, TX 77520 with Deacon George Rincon officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathon Gonzales, Vincent Galvan, Mark Galvan, Anthony Galvan, Richard F. Galvan Jr., and Raul G. ""R. J."" Galvan-Longoria.
