Pearl Crocker, 84, of Palestine, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009 in Palestine. She was born December 1, 1924 in Mountain Park, Oklahoma to her late parents, William Robert Stephenson and Roxie Lee Brackeen Stephenson.
Pearl was a former longtime resident of Baytown, received an LVN Degree from Lee College and worked at Gulf Coast Hospital and San Jacinto Methodist Hospital before retiring. She had also worked at Weingarten's. She was a former longtime member of First Baptist Church in Baytown and was a member of the Cedar Bayou Lodge #11 Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Crocker was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Swin Crocker and a daughter, Claudine Dean.
Survivors include her daughters, Katherine Cofer of Gilmer, Judy Barrilleaux and her husband Lionel of Buffalo and Nelda Davis and her husband Mike of Jewett; 1 step-son; 2 step-daughters and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Casey D. Froelich officiating and a graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the Kilgore City Cemetery in Kilgore.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2009 at the funeral home.
