Patricia “Pat” Marilyn Davis, 88 of Baytown, Texas, died peacefully on Saturday, August 22, 2020. She was born on May 12, 1932 in Manhattan, New York. She relocated to Houston at the young age of 20 and was a long time Baytown resident.
She is survived by her children, Al Owens (Barbara) of Crosby, TX and Carrie Nelson of Nashville, TN. Grandchildren Kara Pack (Mike) and Austin Nelson (Courtney) and her great grandson, Hayston Pack, of Nashville.
Pat also known as Granny was an avid animal lover who doted on her cat, Molly. She had a long work career in sales. She was an active member of her church and spent much time with her church family. She enjoyed volunteering at a local thrift store and Baytown Health Center. She loved her children, but her grandchildren came along they took the spotlight, and when her great grandson was born, he hung the moon for her.
Pat will be missed by all that knew her but leaves behind the legacy of a strong woman who never gave up. We will all remember her beautiful red hair, her always painted nails, her love of all things Elvis but most of all the love she showed throughout her life.
Her family will have visitation on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 5-8 pm at Earthman Funeral Home. Memorial service on September 1, 2020 11:00. am.
If friends desire and in accordance to her wishes, memorial donations can be made to Faith Presbyterian Church of Baytown in Pat’s honor.
The family would also like to send a thank you to the staff of Harbor Hospice on Kirby Drive for their love and care and a very special thank you to Jane Platt and Maria Martinez to the love and care they showed to Pat.
