Norma Jane Davis, of Crosby, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024. She was born on November 24, 1937 in Timpson, Texas to Bill and Erna Ray. Norma is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Barbara Grubbs, brother Albert Ray and her daughter Debbie V. Herman.
Norma worked in nursing at North Houston Hospital until she married. Norma was married to David C. Davis for 63 years. After she married, Norma took a lot of pride in her role as wife and mother. She was passionate for her family, especially her time with her grandchildren. Norma loved gardening and was never happier than when outside tending to her vast array of plants. She loved the Lord and anyone who met her knew it. Norma was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband David C. Davis of Crosby, Texas, son Richard Wilkerson and wife Shelia of Highlands, Texas, daughter Sheila Feemster and husband Keith of Galveston, Texas; grandchildren Tony Lyons and wife Melody of Royce City, Texas, Phillip Feemster of Galveston, Texas, Kirk Feemster and wife Chelsea of Nederland, Texas and Ryan White and wife Jessica of Garrison, Texas; and 6 great grandchildren, Rowan Feemster, Jaiden Castillo, Riley Thompson, Reymond White, Jaicee Cole, and Jaecen (Bubba) Cole and brother Marvin Ray of Carthage, Texas.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521. The Celebration of Life service is on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home with the committal service to follow at 11:30AM at Evergreen Cemetery, 13703 Sralla Road, Crosby, Texas 77532.
