Noah Lafayette Pruett, 91, of Baytown, Texas died on September 11, 2019. He was born in Balmorhea, Texas in Reeves County on April 5, 1928 to the union of the late Verde E. and Mary E. Pruett. Noah served his country through the Army in 1946. He was a Customs Inspector for the US Customs and retired after 40 years of service. He attended the Crosby Church of Christ. In 2000 he met Joan M. Perry and on April 6, 2001 they were united in matrimony. Noah enjoyed dancing. He enjoyed it so that every Thursday morning he and Joan would go dancing at the Baytown Community Center. He and Joan would also go every Friday to the Highlands Community Center and participate in various activities. He would travel every year to Treasure Lake Camp Ground in Branson, MO.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Elmer Pruett and a son, Ronald Pruett. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Joan and a daughter, Catherine Furnace and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
