Nicholas graduated from Parkerview Baptist School. He was a strong and brave young man who played football in high school. He also enjoyed art, music and fishing. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Baytown, TX.
He was preceded in death by his father, David L. Burns; and grandfather, Rodolfo Salinas.
He is survived by his mother, Hilda Burns; brother, Jonathan Burns; grandmother, Maria L. Salinas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Salinas, Serigo Torres, Serigo Torres, Jr., Victor Salinas, Jonathan Burns, and Jessie Moreno.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Earthman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
