Nancy and her husband, Leroy John Marek were married 60 years and were blessed with three sons. As their family grew, she took much joy in her grandchildren and the time they spent together. Nancy adored them all.
She was baptized into Christ in Baytown and was a member of the Channelview Church of Christ. In her faith and every aspect of her life, Nancy was faithful and strong.
Her family called her "Precious Nancy" for her sweet and loving disposition and hardworking nature. She always offered the helping hand, ministered to the sick, and welcomed others into her home.
She is predeceased by her parents and two sisters, Jacquelyn Biggar and Mary Jo Lannou. Surviving sisters are Jean (Derryl) Wood and Tina (Mike) Shipley.
She is survived by her loving husband Leroy Marek, sons Jimmy (Darlene), Jeff (Dee), and Blaine (Sherla) Marek. Grandsons Jerremy (Sarah), Joshua (Linda), Jacob (fiance Lily Holland), Zack, Bryce, and Lance Marek. Granddaughters Chelsea (Taylor) Morris and Olivia Marek. Seven great grandchildren, Peyton, Madison, Aiden, Noah, Isabella, Brayen, and Emmalynn.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Navarre Funeral Home on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will take place in the chapel of Navarre Funeral Home on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 11:00 am. Interment will be private and take place in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Baytown, TX.
