Miguel S. Araujo, 84, of La Porte, TX, entered into eternal peace on October 24, 2014 with his family at his side. Miguel was born on August 23, 1930 in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. He was a member of Iglesia de San Juan Diego Catholic Church in Pasadena Texas. Miguel retired from his foreman position at Flexitallic as the longest tenured employee with over 30 years of loyal service. While at Flexitallic, he met his beloved wife and best friend of 34 years. Together, they became proud American citizens on December 18, 1992. His favorite pastimes were visiting dear friends, reading, and playing slot machines.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfonso Araujo; mother, Maria del Socorro Sanchez Guerrero; brother, Alfonso Araujo Sanchez; and sister, Maria del la Luz Araujo Sanchez.
He is survived by his loving wife, Saeko Araujo; children, Leticia Davila and husband Daniel, Rose Morales, Maria Roller and husband Steven, Manuel Araujo, Miguel Araujo and wife Luisa, Vincent Russell, Yvonne Riley, and Angela Russell; grandchildren, Ileana Davila, Daniel Davila, Adriana Loya, Eloisa Arteaga, Pedro Morales, Carolina Fausto, Richard Salazar, Alex Roller, Brandon Araujo, Nicholas Araujo, Jacob Araujo, Samantha Araujo, Megan Hurley, Lauren Riley, and Elizabeth Switzer; 11 precious great-grandchildren; brothers, Jose Gonzalez Sanchez and Jesus Gonzales Sanchez; sister, Maria del Socorro Zuniga Sanchez, and numerous other family and friends.
The family is grateful for the compassionate care Houston Hospice provided during his last days.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00p.m., with a Rosary being recited at 7:00p.m., at Earthman Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 10:00a.m. at Earthman Funeral Home.
Interment will immediately follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.
