Melva, also known as Honey, was a dedicated wife to Robert and a devoted mother to their two children, Phil and Rusty. Her family was her greatest joy, and she was always there to offer her support, wisdom, and unconditional love. Melva’s home was a place of warmth and hospitality, where friends and family were always welcome for a cup of coffee and a slice of homemade chocolate pie.
A talented homemaker, Melva was known for her exceptional cooking, particularly her famous southern dishes, which were the highlight of many family gatherings. Everyone would agree she made the best Chicken and Dumplings. They were the highlight of every holiday event.
Melva Addison's legacy of love, kindness, and home cooking will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 12:00-1:30 pm at Navarre Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Baytown, TX.
