Mary B. Williams, 82, of Baytown was born June 3, 1926 in Anderson, TX and passed away Saturday, March 28, 2009 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of the Methodist faith and worked as a bookkeeper for various car dealerships in the Baytown area and retired from USI Credit Union with 20 years of service where she was the manager. She loved dogs and traveling, having made many overseas trips.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Leta Ferguson; husband, Roy K. Williams; and brothers, Grady and Bill Ferguson. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Pat and Janeice Williams of Old River-Winfree; daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and Milton Johnson and Becky and John Johnson, all of Baytown; grandchildren, Bryan Williams, Seth, Eric, Bobby, Ricky, Jorje, Scott and Brian Johnson, Brandi and Scott Bethea and Melissa and Billy Young; great grandchildren, Casey, Jessica, Caitlin and Madison Bethea and Krista and Logan Young; and special friends, Sarah Wood, Bill Cochran, Bob Bulmor and Rev. Bob Redman.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Redman officiating. Burial will follow at the Cedar Bayou Masonic Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Williams, Seth, Eric and Bobby Johnson, Scott Bethea and Billy Young. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Bulmor and Bill Cochran.
